How can I use the intertnet to support my teaching and student learning?
The internet is a wonderful tool for students to research real world application in any subject. I would like to use the technology for chatting, peer discussion, instructor webbing, classroom website, and email. I think the public education system is going to be much like the online classroom as in the university. And, I love online classes!
How can I ensure responsible and appropriate use of thte internet?
The students would view this as a privilege. If one chooses to use inappropriate language, they can always revert back to paper and pencil. =( I don't think (if stressed) this will be a problem knowing that the teacher is monitoring every word that they send, which has their identities attached as well. =)
